Junior and senior business majors at Berkeley's Haas School of Business agree that the use of the Capstone Business Simulation in Dr. Frank Schultz's Competitive Strategy course adds excitement and emotion to what could otherwise be a very dry course. Frank Schultz combines the simulation with textbook and lecture and admits the stakes skyrocket when the simulation portion of the course kicks in.

His students, like 1000s before them, play the eight rounds of Capstone. But at the end, even those who do poorly in managing their companies get a chance to redeem themselves in front of their classmates and Dr. Schultz.
