As part of Notre Dame’s six-week course that focuses on entrepreneurship and leadership, these YALI Fellows use Capsim’s Capstone simulation to hone their business acumen. When they visited the Capsim offices on July 24th, their enthusiasm was infectious.

The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), launched in 2010 to support African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity across Africa. This is the second year that Capsim has partnered with Notre Dame to make our Capstone business simulation available to the Fellows.

The YALI Fellows visit various cities during their stay and we were excited to welcome them to the Capsim offices in downtown Chicago for the second year in a row. An active discussion was led by our own Reda Chafai who is also from the continent. This is where you can see the competitive spirit on full display . Team Digby was leading in the simulation so their team members were the most vocal.

Following the discussion we led a tour of the office, sat for a group photo, and then the Fellows were off to their next visit. We can’t stress enough how much fun this is for the Capsim team. Whenever we see first-hand how engaged and excited people get when they experience our business simulations it reenergizes our office. We can’t wait for next year.
