To apply for an open position, go to; select the position you are interested in applying for. Then click on the link provided in the job description. The link will take you to the application page. You will need to create a username and password in order to log in. Once you have logged in, you will be asked to complete a few different documents: Employment Application, Credit Check Acknowledgement, Disclosure Statement and Authorization Form. The interview process depends in length and style based on the positon you are applying for. Some positions require an assessment or try out as well. All offers are contingent on a background check.

Tell me about your experience with Capsim and what roles you've held here:

Capsim has drastically expanded my skill set, from being a Client Relationship Consultant (CRC), to an Account Manager and now my current role of Associate Product Manager. I’ve been able to have the full experience working with clients, from support to sales to now designing new features clients are interested in. I’ve also been able to form friendships within the office and make long-lasting memories whether during company outings, holiday celebrations and even Capsim Olympics!

What do you love about Capsim?

The one thing I love about Capsim the most is the flexibility. I was never discouraged from taking on a new role or trying new projects that were important to me. The way Capsim works is flexible, adopting an AGILE methodology providing clients with quick iterations of our products that enhance their experience. My coworkers are also flexible, willing to listen to each other’s ideas and help one another with a variety of projects.

What advice would you give candidates applying for positions at Capsim?

I would take a look at Capsim’s mission and values. First and foremost customers are the priority in my opinion and from my experiences. Learning more about Capsim will help determine if this is the right culture fit for you!

How do you see the future of Capsim?

I think the best way to learn anything is by doing and Capsim provides customers with the unique opportunity to advance their business skills through a realistic setting. We are also entering an era of soft skill development which everyone can benefit from, not only in their professional lives but personal lives as well. I envision nothing but growth for Capsim’s future and I hope to be a part of that.

Tell me about your experience with Capsim and what roles you've held here:

I started with an office administrator job and quickly moved on to being a Client Relationship Consultant. Since Capsim is a smaller and more entrepreneurial company I’ve developed a wide range of skills including the use of Adobe products, sales, and even ar/ap. I feel like I have done a little bit of everything.

What do you love about Capsim?

The people and the culture. Everyone helps each other out and we always have a great time doing it.

What advice would you give candidates applying for positions at Capsim?

Communicate what you would like to do and how you would like to grow right away so we can help or provide guidance early.

How do you see the future of Capsim?

I see great things down the road. Every year we are constantly improving and growing. It’s great to see how much we have evolved since the time I have started. I’m always looking forward to seeing what’s next for us.

Tell me about your experience with Capsim and what roles you've held here:

Capsim opened its doors for me while I was still pursuing my Undergraduate studies, finalizing my career choices and looking for mentorship to grow my future. My first experiences at Capsim and with Capsim were in the TGIF group, which met Fridays to test different products. Shortly after that, my role within the company grew; I spent a good quarter of the year working as a Marketing Intern. Then, stars aligned, and I was able to secure the Accounting Internship, which eventually led to the FT position. Hard work pays off!

What do you love about Capsim?

Capsim is a company with great culture, work-life balance and people. Personally, Capsim employees guided/mentored me into the professional that I am today; I love it. Capsim makes difference.

Be yourself – that is impressive.

How do you see the future of Capsim?

I think that although Capsim has been around for a while, we are just starting off our journey. We care, we dream big, and we give 110%. Considering the dedication of our intellectual assets, the people, I only see prosperous years to come.

Tell me about your experience with Capsim and what roles you've held here:

Almost too many to count! I have worked in a number of different functions at Capsim, starting in the Marketing side before shifting into more of a strategic role, and eventually moving into Product Design & Development.

During my time, I have served as a Marketing Coordinator, Associate Marketing Manager, Business Analyst, Associate Product Manager, Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, and now as Manager of Product Design and Development. At each stage, I have grown and learned something that has changed my outlook on being a professional.

What do you love about Capsim?

I love that I have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of future business leaders of the world. By creating different educational tools for people who want to pursue a career in business, I am involved in changing the way people learn. We shape the tools that people use to help make them future business leaders. That is a great feeling.

What advice would you give candidates applying for positions at Capsim?

Learn everything you can about three things: our focus as a business, our vision moving forward, and our values. Our focus as a business will help you understand who we are right now. Our vision will help you decide if this is the right growth opportunity. Our values will frame if this is the right culture for you.

How do you see the future of Capsim?

Our future is what we make of it, which is very exciting. We are in the midst of a huge shift in the education industry, and Capsim has the opportunity to disrupt this even further through our products. With a fun, ambitious workforce driven by our values, we can make a huge impact on the world of education.

Tell me about your experience with Capsim and what roles you've held here:

My current role at Capsim is managing the client relationship team, but my role has evolved over the years. Without going into too much detail, during that time I have advised students, provided support to instructors, facilitated dozens of corporate programs, travelled to four continents, and worked with some truly outstanding and talented individuals.

What do you love about Capsim?

There is so much to love about working at Capsim but the thing that I have always found most satisfying is when a change that I suggested is implemented. I know it might sound corny, but everyone in this company has a voice and we are always trying to find ways to improve. One of Capsim’s core values is that we provide solutions and make a difference for our clients. Seeing that same mentality applied to the workplace is equally gratifying.

What advice would you give candidates applying for positions at Capsim?

Open communication and a positive attitude are key components to success at this organization.

How do you see the future of Capsim?

Tell me about your experience with Capsim and what roles you've held here:

I moved to Chicago after I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in marketing and interviewed with Reda Chafai (then the Director of Marketing & Sales, and now the current President). I actually didn’t get the job, but made enough of an impression on Reda to earn an internship in the marketing department. After a few months, I received a full time offer as an Online Marketing Associate and after a couple of years, I was promoted to Online Marketing Manager. Most recently, I was promoted to my current position of Marketing Manager and have held this position since Fall of 2017.

What do you love about Capsim?

I love that I get to be a key component of bringing Capsim’s vision to life — cultivating, developing and inspiring the next generation of business leaders. Capsim is still a relatively small company, which let’s you get your hands dirty and make an impact. It’s a very rewarding place to work.

What advice would you give candidates applying for positions at Capsim?

Try your best to see things through others’ perspectives and challenge all assumptions. Our customers are our primary focus and our success is defined by theirs.

How do you see the future of Capsim?

The possibilities are truly endless. The business education landscape is evolving fast and there is more pressure than ever for graduates to possess skills that are traditionally difficult to develop in a classroom setting. Our solutions develop the right skills in the right way.
