Authors now can utilize open text fields as a response option for emails. This feature can be leveraged in various ways, whether it’s as a more authentic email response, a feedback field, or as a way to validate spelling and grammar. Authors can assign skill points to these responses the same way they can with a multiple-choice response option.
Text responses submitted by participants can be accessed from the professor/administrative dashboard. Text responses can be enabled under Email settings with the Inbox tab, as seen below.
Moving forward, authors will encounter more directed in-app messaging to help improve their experience. This messaging will highlight new or highlighted features and may also be used to generate feedback on areas that may be targeted for improvement.
Some ad-blocking software may block this messaging, so we strongly recommend adding an exception for the Authoring Platform. Capsim will never have any external ads present within the Authoring Platform.
